Notary Public
The library has certified notary publics on staff most days of the week. If a witness is needed you must bring your own. There is no charge for this service but you should call ahead to see if/when one will be available to help you.
Interlibrary Loan
If for any reason the library does not have material you require (book, video, newspaper, magazine, etc.), the library is capable of trying to borrow from other libraries in the area. Even if other libraries in the area do not have the material we can try to borrow from anywhere in the state, country, or world. Please see the Reference Desk to learn more about interlibrary loans.
Research Loan Program
The library is part of a Research Loan Program to offer patrons expanded access to library collections in the region. This alternative is helpful in those instances where interlibrary loan does not meet the need or where browsing is needed to determine the selection of materials. The service allows patrons to receive a 30 day temporary library card for a number of academic and public libraries in the area. In order to use this service patrons must have a clean record with no fines or overdue material. Please see the Reference Desk to learn more about the Research Loan Program.
